6/9 Evening update

We are officially out of NICU and in our room for the night.  It is right outside the NICU so we still have access to the nurses and other resources if we need them.  It is big, probably as big as our bedroom at home, and has a TV and bathroom with shower. 

Evie passed her sleep study and car seat test with no issue and is clear to come home, no monitors or caffeine.  We took the monitor training course for Ben and then he did his car seat test too.  He passed but they did it on a monitor that doesn't record data at a high enough level of detail so they had to repeat it at 9:15 PM.  The nurse just brought him back into the room and said it looks like he did fine again.

The doctor says unless "something weird" happens, we are definitely being discharged tomorrow.  I will believe it when we are home.
